💰 Rental Fees in Boston:
Starting August 1, 2025, broker’s fees must be paid by the person who hires the broker. This means that if a landlord engages a broker, the landlord — not the tenant — is responsible for the fee. Renters only pay a broker if they choose to hire one to represent them directly. Many of our clients find that having a professional advocate simplifies the process and saves them time.
